Slacker

I have been slacking in the blog dept, for sure! We have been staying busy with every day life. You know, the normal full time job and being a full time mommy too! :) Thanksgiving has come and gone and now we're gearing up for Christmas! I'm not too sure why, but I haven't been in the Christmas spirit much this December. It is only day #7 though so maybe that will change. Speaking of, I'm going to pick up a few things for the boys after work today. (I'm sneaking out a half a day early... believe me when I say, I deserve it!)

So here's what we've been up to, picture style!

Our friend Snitch is back this year. Both the boys get excited about what he's gotten into when they wake up in the morning.

Halloween

I forgot to post pictures of my scary dinosaur and scary monkey on Halloween! Are you ready to have your socks spooked off???

Introducing...

Tuffy the scary DINO!

and....

 Gunner the spooky monkey!

The boys had a fun time trick or treating. Gunner ran around like a "mad monkey" or kind of like he's never been put down before. HA! Love my little maniac! Tuff had fun but was a little skeptical of all the scary masks. And they both racked up with lots and lots of candy! I'd say the night was a success.

Can't believe it's been another year....

Tuff was a lot smaller last year. To me, he still looked like a little baby. And lately, he's looking more and more like a little man!

And Gunner was just a tee tiny little thang last year. Still practically a newborn who slept the entire time we were out...

Sure do love my boys!!!

And I'm sure before I have time to blink, we'll be trick or treating again and another year will have came and gone!

1 & 3 years

We finally got around to having Gunner's 1 year and Tuff's 3 year pictures made. I haven't gotten them all back yet but here is a little sneak peek...

Anita did a wonderful job, as usual! Can't wait to see the rest!

I plan on taking my little monkey and little dinosaur out for some treats tonight! I should have some pictures to post within the next few days. One thing is for sure, I have the cutest monkey and dino I've ever seen.

:)

Happy Halloween, friends!

Happy Friday!!!!

Wonder what we've been up to?

Tuff has been on fall break this week so he's been playing his heart out at MeMe and Papa's all week!

A little horse back ridin'
(the same horsey mama used to ride when she was little)

Reading mama bedtime stories

Playing with big brothers boots while he's away

Where was big brother...?

On his way to the circus with cousin Ada!

Eating peanut butter straight out of the jar and from a spoon!
(Just like his papa and mama)

Getting ready for Halloween!

Speaking of Halloween...
check out my scary skeleton!

Who's learned how to say "chhheeeeesseeee..."
(can't you tell?)

LOVE my sweet boys!!!!

Last night as me and Tuffy were laying down for bed, I could feel his hands wandering over to me. He started rubbing my face all over. Right when I was about to ask what he was doing, his fingers stopped on my lips (it was dark). He was holding his hand there so he could find my lips with his. The next thing I knew, I was getting a kiss and shortly after I heard "I love you mama!"

<insert melted hearted mommy>

It might have been the sweetest thing he's EVER done.

THAT is the very reason I wake up every day. I no longer live for me, I live for my babies!!!!

Life is good, friends!

Have a good weekend!!!!
:)

Pumpkin Patch

Tuff's class had a field trip to the pumpkin patch on Tuesday. I decided to brave it and take Gunner & Ada along for the ride too. Once it warmed up and everyone got some lunch in their bellies, lots of fun was had.

Here are some of my favorite pictures from the day...

Gunner worked really hard to get this "ball" (pumpkin) off the ground

He worked hard and he succeeded.

"I think I'll sit on it now!"

Tuff being a good big brother and helping Gunner Blake through the patch!

The twinkies checking out the ducks.

Our group of duckies

Feeding the duckies with Baba

Gunner loved sticking his head through the posts to look at the ducks

Funny faces...

Fire truck fun

Pumpkin train riding

And here's a flashback of the boys from last year's trip...

Gunner Blake was just a few months old and snoozed through most of the patch!

 Tuffy on the fire truck

Can't believe how fast my babies are growing.

I am one blessed mommy!!!
