Only 2 days until I am officially Mrs. Jordan Alford. I'm so excited. Please pray everything goes smoothly tomorrow as we spend the day preparing everything for the BIG DAY. :) I almost had a mini melt down this morning, though. I couldn't find any tracking information for the flowers that were supposed to be delivered today! I called the 1-800 number to find out how they were being delivered and the lady told me they hadn't even been shipped yet! WHAT?!? I'm getting married on Saturday and those flowers are the flowers that we are supposed to be using for the wedding. The lady I talked with was of little help and acted like she could care less about me, my wedding, or the flowers that were supposed to be here no later than this afternoon. I was furious! I called my sister and she told me to call back and speak with a supervisor. About that time mom called and said "I have good news and bad news!" "The good news is, the flowers are here. The bad news is, the box is as long as Tuff's pack and play!" Hahaha. As long as the flowers were there, we could definitely deal with the bad news. :) So, the best part of the whole situation.... I have our flowers and some supervisor got saved a big ole chewin. Cause believe me, I was ready to chew. :)
Today is my last day at work until next Tuesday and I am leaving at lunch. I have a scheduled spray tan at 12:45 and then we are off to the courthouse to get our marriage license. You know, to make it officially... OFFICIAL. Woo Hoo! :)
The Rehearsal dinner is tonight since Dalton has an away game tomorrow night. We will rehearse at 6 and then have a yummy ham dinner afterwards. I think I am looking foward to the ham dinner more than anything. Hehe...
Well, the countdown continues....
Happy Thursday Everyone!!!!

Looong Weekend
It was a very long and productive weekend. We started off Friday night at Dalton's football game against Middle TN Christian. We lost. I just don't know if they'll be able to pull off a W at all this year. Hoping for next year. ;) Tuff actually did pretty good considering he didn't have an afternoon nap. He was SO tired though. He was asleep before we even left the road that the high school is on.
Saturday morning we got up early and dropped Tuff off at BaBa's then headed to Murfreesboro to get the boys clothes for the wedding. It was a LONG day but very successful. We ended up getting everything we needed. We also stopped by Hobby Lobby and picked up some decor for the house. We worked Saturday afternoon on getting all of our decor out. It turned out pretty good and Tuff seems to love all of it. Here are a few shots of our fall/halloween decor...
Sunday, we headed over to BaBa and Poppy's to celebrate Poppy's birthday. We had BBQ, baked beans, potato salad, and coleslaw. It was extra YUMMY. Then we headed outside to play in the yard and go see the moo cows.
We ended the night at home with steaks on the grill, garlic potatos, and garlic bread. Dad always complains and says we always eat steaks when he's at work so I told him the next time he's off to let me know and I'd make him a steak. I got a call on Saturday, requesting that steak! :) I didn't take any pictures because everyone was already in there pajamas... including our guests. Haha. I did get these of our SCARY skeleton before bed though...
Hope you all had a great weekend. The countdown continues....

Friday! Friday! Friday!
Say it with me....
FRIDAY!!! Oh Friday, how I've missed thee. :) It has been one looooonnnngggg Friday. I am happy to say I only have 40 minutes left of the work week. Thank you Jesus. Remember how I talked about getting the flu shot and not feeling well yesterday? Well that feeling lasted until I went to bed last night. Then I didn't sleep well. Oh me. I have been extremely tired today. I work for an accounting firm so it's usually pretty slow around here on Friday's if it's not tax season. Today has definitely been a slow one. The girls at work took me to lunch today for a "Bridal Lunch." We all had a nice time and they all got me WAY more than expected. It was very thoughtful of them all. One girl I work with got me this really cute bag with my name monogrammed on the outside and filled with snacks. She said I could use it on the wedding day to carry things and to have snacks handy. Good Idea!!! :)
Our photographer also called and said our engagement pictures are done. I am planning to meet her after work to get them. I can't wait to see how they turned out. I will share some on Monday after I enjoy my weekend :).
We have a few plans lined up for the weekend. Dalton has a home game tonight against Middle TN Christian. Hopefully we can pull off a W. I'm not sure how well Tuff is going to do since Mom called about 30 minutes ago and said he is refusing an afternoon nap. That is so uncommon for him. He likes his 2 naps a day. One in the morning and one in the afternoon. We'll see how it goes. Tomorrow we have plans to get all the boys clothes for the wedding and maybe pick up some fall decor for the house. Jordan has already gotten started on the Fall decor. I'm excited to have our own house that we can decorate ourselves and the way we want. :)
I know this hasn't been a very interesting post but I wanted to express my excitement for.....

Yuck!
Is how I'm feeling this afternoon. They provide flu shots once a year for free where I work so of course I signed up! Every since I've had Tuff, I figure all the appropriate vaccines are necessary. Last year was the very first I'd ever voluntarily taken since I was little and they were necessary. I got the seasonal flu vaccine and the H1N1 vaccine. Neither of them bothered me. I was put "in charge" of the flu shot at work this year. Meaning I had to make everyone fill out their paperwork and call them in one by one. I kept bragging to all the people that were whining and complaining about the shot that I have never been bothered by it. Well, all I can say is lesson learned. Every since I took my shot this morning I have been feeling sick, dizzy, and like my arm is going to fall off. Haha. I don't think I'll be bragging to anyone next year. :)
I was scheduled to pick up my dress from alterations today on my lunch break. All I got altered were the straps but I still had to try the dress on to make sure it fit correctly. Everything was great except a little tear the dress had when I tried it on. They were suppose to fix that too but apparently they forgot to write that down the last time I was in there. Luckily, it only took the lady a few minutes to sew it up and have it fixed up. While she was working on that, I walked over to Michael's to look for brown leaves for my bouquet. Hobby Lobby didn't have any yesterday. Michael's hardly had any either. I ended up having to buy some garland with the leaves in it and they are light brown instead of dark brown like I had originally wanted. It's ok though. As long as there is some brown I don't think it matters how light or dark it is. The good news is, I found the same signature frame I wanted at HL for a cheaper price and 40% off. I got it for $17.99. GO ME! :)
I'm glad it's Thursday. You all know what Friday's have in store for our family....
GAME DAY!!!
I hope Dalty plays a good hard game. Can't wait to see him play.
Oh, and the coutdown continues.....
Happy Thursday!

10 days
The countdown contines....
10 DAYS!!!!!
My days have been spent doing alot of this....
Planning, planning, planning....
All I can seem to think is "What am I forgetting?" I'm feeling pretty anxious and yes, a little stressed. When it comes down to it, I wish I were rich. Things seem to be working them selves out pretty well but I'm trying to stick to a budget. Budget's are hard. No matter what you are budgeting for. When it comes down to it, we will probably end up spending alot more than we actually anticipated but I seem to think it will all be more than worth it. A few plans....
We will mostly be using sunflowers....
Our colors are brown, orange, and yellow. We are trying to stick to a "fall" theme and it seems to be working out pretty well. We are getting married at 6:30 pm and according the the farmer's almanac the sun should set at 6:27 pm. Our plans are for candles, candles, and more candles. We are planning to hang mason jars (quart & pint size) everywhere with candles in side. We may even add a few white lights. ;) I sure don't think it could hurt.
I'm hoping for my bouquet to look like something along the lines of this one....
Minus the red gerbera daisies. We will be using more sunflowers and less gerbera daisies. I hope it turns out this great. I don't doubt my wedding coordinator one bit ;) I know I made a previous post about the cupcake pom poms but we decided against them. They were just going to be too expensive. The 10" styrofoam balls were running like $20 a piece. That would have just gotten out of hand expensive. I'm pretty content with all the ideas we have though. These were just a few. I can't wait to see it all come together on the night of the wedding. I am scheduled to pick my dress up from alterations tomorrow. Then Friday, the girls I work with are having me a Bridal lunch at a restaurant here in town. I'm pretty excited. This weekend we plan on doing a few last minute things like getting the boys outfits. Hopefully we can find just what I want instead of having to look and look. Wish me luck. :) Other than that we just have a few minor things to check off our list. It's creeping up on us and will be here before we know it!
I'll end my post with a few of our sweet boy.... (Sorry they aren't too clear, they were taken with my phone)
Happy Wednesday!!!!

Bridal Shower & Weekend
The wedding is getting closer and closer by the day. We are officially on a countdown... 11 days to go. I can also officially announce, I am starting to get a bit overwhelmed with the last minute details. I'm sure this is all normal...
The Bridal/Lingerie shower Friday night was a BLAST. I have the best friends/family in the world. I am so grateful for the girls in my life. We had so much fun just eating, opening gifts, playing games, and talking. It was definitely a much needed girls night for all of us I think. Here are pictures from our night....

The Bachelorette, ME :)
The HOSTS and 2 of my favorite girls in this world.
The munchy table
My mom (left) and my oldest sister (right)
Opening Gifts
Mom, Bree, me, and April
All my sisters minus the younger one who probably isn't old enough to
attend a lingerie shower just yet ;)
Me & Ash
Gretchen, me & Amanda
2 of my soon-to-be sister in laws
Ash, Brooka, me, Hope, Kel
These girls, minus 1 (Roxy), are my all time favorites! Without all of them,
I'd be nowhere!!! I LOVE YOU Ladies!!!!
I was SO glad Brooke got to stop by. I was really looking foward to seeing her.
Playing "Pin the kiss on the man" Haha. Being the BRIDE, guess who pinned the kiss closest? Yep, ME! ;)
It was a GREAT night! Thanks to everyone who came to be apart of it with me and the biggest thanks to Hope and Kelly for hosting!!! You girls are fabulous and ya'll did such a good job!!!
The rest of the weekend was pretty laid back. After all the girls left, MY boys came home. It was about 11:30. Tuff had been asleep until Jordan got him out of the car and of course, he woke up. He ran around and played for a while and then we laid him back down. Saturday morning we got up and headed to the grocery store so we could get home in time to watch some football. I made yummy taco soup. Tennessee played Florida the same time FSU was playing so I'll let you all take a guess as to which game was on our t.v. Lol. I didn't mind. TN actually put up a good fight and if it weren't for a few minor mistakes, I think they could have maybe pulled off a win. The final score was 31-17. FSU played BYU and won 34-10. GO SEMINOLES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)
Sunday we had plans to meet at the wedding location to go over a few more details. We also had our engagement pictures taken. It was HOT. Jordan and I are both big sweaters so we don't do too good taking pictures in the heat. But we managed. Hopefully she can edit out the sweat. Haha. We should have those back sometime this week and I will share some here. After pictures we headed home and had some tilapia for dinner. We have become big fans of tilapia lately. We have been eating it atleast once a week. YUM. Even Tuff likes it so that's always a plus!!!
Dalton said the lions played a pretty good game Friday night. They still lost but it was probably one of their better games. I figured it'd be that way since we didn't get to go. The Lions played York and their final score was 33-12. They will be playing Middle TN Christian this Friday at home and we'll be there to cheer them on :)
Wedding plans are taking way around here. Every spare minute I have, I've been using to get things together. It's almost here and I can't wait!!!!
Hope everyone has a good Tuesday.
