Hi Ho! Hi Ho! Back to the Doctor I go!!!
I am now going on 7 days of being miserable and I can't take it anymore. Along with the pink eye, throat issues, congestion, and lack of sleep I have a 17 month old to take care of. I can't do it another day. I'm hoping and praying she will just give me a steroid shot and let it be over with. Please say a prayer for me cause I could really use them. I look foward to being able to enjoy a cold drink again. Anything other than hot chocolate and apple cider. Even though I am pretty fond of both :) (A really nice lady I work with has been making me apple cider the past few days.)
It's been a long week (yes I know, it's only Wednesday). It could be because I'm not feeling good. The weather is still throwing us all kinds of crazy curve balls. We are expecting a "wintery mix" this afternoon. I guess this is what they call snow/sleet/ice/rain mixture. All I can think is "Fabulous!" It's fun when you're younger and you get out of school but when you grow up and you have responsibilities (like work), it's not so fun anymore. I am something crazy while trying to drive on bad road conditions. It definitely isn't one of my favorite things to do.
We have plans to get the babies pictures taken in their Christmas attire Friday night after everyone gets off work. I am excited to see how they turn out! Mrs. Patty has been working hard to get the boys jumpers done in time. Hopefully they all cooperate for us. I guess we'll be seeing how that goes. (We could use some prayers for this too. hehe.) I can't wait to share pictures with ya'll. :)
We also have plans to do a little gift swap with my dear friend Kelly and her sweet little Miss Saturday afternoon. Kelly has been one of my best friends since High School. Her husband is the brother to one of my childhood (and current) friends, Lana. So we all go way back. Kelly and Justin adopted their first sweet miracle baby this past July and she couldn't be anymore PRECIOUS!!! I haven't been able to just sit and hold her and spend alot of time with her since July so I'm excited to get some down time with them. Hopefully we will have pictures to share.... although I won't be able to show little Miss' face because everything isn't completely finalized just yet.
I'll leave ya'll with a picture of our sweet boy eating a sucker at the ball game this past Saturday....
Hope everyone is enjoying their Wednesday!!!!

A very sickly, very snowy, and very cold kind of weekend...
Our normal 2 day weekend turned into a 3 day weekend because of this....
SNOW!!!!! :)
Our road Monday morning
The yard and porch
Chopper doesn't seem to be too concerned about staying warm..
And this is what Tuff thought about the snow...
Poor buddy.
He started screaming as soon as his feet hit the ground and he heard that loud "cruuuunch!"
With baby boy not being at ALL interested and mama being sick, we didn't get out in the snow too much. It was pretty but it was bitterly COLD too. I was pretty surprised to see snow this early in December though. It's the first time in a LONG for us Woodburians. :) Praying we get to see it again for Christmas. Now that would be ideal.
Anyways, it was a rough weekend for me. Along with trying to get rid of the pink eye, I developed what I thought was strep, but later found out was a viral infection in my throat. Ewwww weeeeee is all I have to say about this. Today is the first time I got off the couch since Saturday afternoon. Along with the fungus in my throat, I woke up yesterday with ulsers to go along with. Fun stuff. I also have SO much drainage going on that I can't get rid of because my throat is toooo sore to cough it up. I have to add this to the top 3 most miserbale & uncomfortable moments/sicknesses of my entire life. Ugh. Bless my heart is all I have to say! Haha. :) Honestly though, I would never wish this upon anyone.
Not much else going on around our household. Just resting and trying to get rid of all the sickies before Santa comes to visit our house next week!!! :) I'm so excited for Tuff this year. Can't wait to see him open his presents from Santa. Speaking of which, we only have one gift left to buy. Woo Hoo!
And since I'm just now getting around to uploading the parade pictures from last weekend, I'll leave ya'll with a few! (Remember Tuff was sick last weekend so that's why he was being held the whole time and looking "not so pleased." ha)
cheeeeessseee... Haha
Sittin with mama waiting for parade to start

Watching Santa come with Daddy

Beautiful!!!!
Hope everyone is having a great Tuesday!!!!

OH Friday!!! How I've missed thee...
TGIF is all I have to say... Well that's not all, just REAL glad it's Friday!
Sickness is officially in FULL swing around our house. My eye started bothering me Wednesday afternoon and yesterday I woke up to it being red and a little swollen. At first I thought it was a stye(s) but I went ahead and had it checked out just in case. Well it wasn't a stye, it was pink eye! Boo. Right now we're just hoping I can keep the boys from getting it. Especially since Tuff just got over being sick. Along with the cruddy pink eye, I've got a really sore throat and an aching body. Urgh. Great start to the weekend huh?
Anyways, we are having our Christmas party at work today. Our gift is usually getting the afternoon off, paid! Yippee. Unfortunitely Tuff has a doctor's appointment to get his 2nd round of flu shot. I guess it's important he have it though. I'm not real sure of our plans for the weekend. We have most of our Christmas shopping done minus a few so I would assume we will be working on that at some point. Courtland has a ball game we might attend and other than that, no big plans. And ya'll know me, no big plans is always a good thing. Especially when you have a pink eye ;)
A good friend of mine's mom has started sewing and monogramming. She made Ada the CUTEST Christmas dress last week. Me and April decided we needed to get her to make something for Harrison and Tuff to match Ada's dress so we can get their pictures made. So Patty is currently working on two red jumpers for the boys! :) I can't wait to see the outcome. I will post pictures of them once we get them made.
Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!!!!

P.S. I came accross this blog yesterday and can't even begin to imagine what this couple is going through right now. If you have a moment to read their story and say a prayer for them, click here. I'm sure they would greatly appreciate your prayers.

Up-to-date :)
The week after Thanksgiving was pretty rough. We were all trying to get back into the working routine after having a 5 (me) and 10 (Boogs) days off. Once we finally got back in to the groove, Tuff got sick. :( I woke up around 2am Thursday morning and went in to check on him and thought he felt warm. When he woke up around 7, he still felt warm. I went ahead to work and dropped him off at MeMe's. He continued to run a fever through out the day on Thursday. When I picked him up, he was running a 102 fever. At this point all I could think was his ears. Friday morning he woke up and sucked down almost a whole cup of juice within a few seconds. A few minutes later, he was throwing it all back up. His fever was still 102. I just decided to get him ready and head to the Dr. He threw up about 5 more times on the way to the Dr. Dr. Collins said his ears and everything looked great. He was sure this was just a stomach bug. :( Poor bud. I talked to him about Tuff being sick so much. I told him I was concerned that he was sick more than normal. He assured me that a certain percentage of children stay this sick/or sicker before the age of 2. The good thing is, he's building his immune system up. Once he starts Kindergarten, all the kids that were never sick at his age now will get sick easier than he will. Let's hope that's correct anyways. :) He literally has been sick atleast once a month or more since he turned 1. It's pretty exhausting actually. He told me to just "Hang in there" because it will get better. So I'm hangin away...
We didn't do much Friday night since baby boy was sick. I left him at home with daddy while I ran out and got some groceries. Saturday we bundled baby boy up real good and headed to the Christmas parade in Woodbury. Tuff enjoyed watching all the horses, cars, and Santa! He still wasn't feeling his best so he just hung out in mama and daddy's arms the whole time. After the parade, we dropped buddy off at MeMe's so he could get a nap while me and Jordan went to his sister and husbands post-wedding reception. (They got married at the court house and just had a small reception after) Once we left there we went back to get buddy and headed to Jace's 2nd birthday party. We finally made it home around 7. We spent the rest of the night relaxing, watching football and playing! Sunday was a lazy day before going back to work. I got our Christmas cards in the mail yesterday that I'm excited about getting out in the mail. I'm most excited about Christmas this year since Tuff is finally old enough to enjoy it more. I can't wait to see how he does when we take him to see Santa! :) We will be doing that sometime soon. Just not sure when yet. I took a few pictures this weekend at the parade but not many so I'm not going to bother posting them since my camera is at home. But, since it's nearly impossible for me to post without a picture, I will leave ya'll with this one I took with my phone on Sunday morning.

Thanksgiving. Better late than never, right?
I will start by saying YES, we are still alive. I will post about Thanksgiving and then hopefully I can get up to date with the past week or so tomorrow in another post....
Anyways....
We did have a good time in Florida for Thanksgiving. The boys did pretty good on the drive there and back. It was definitely a better trip on the way back. We were prepped on "what to dos" and "what not to dos" from the trip going down. Haha. Here are a few pics from our trip...

My Granny is turning 70 this month. We threw her a "surprise" birthday party the Friday night we were there. We did really well keeping it from her all week. She said in her 70 years of being alive, this was only the 2nd time she had been completely surpised!!! She was really happy and I'm glad we decided to do this for her while we were there. We are all very grateful for her. Happy early 70th Birthday Granny and G.G. (the great grand kids call her G.G.)!!! WE LOVE YOU!!!!
The Cake
Yes, we lit 70 candles. And no, we didn't have to call the fire dept. Haha.

Tuff did a little celebrating too...

The BOYS celebrating their G.G.'s big day!
The trip was very much needed. I hadn't been down in over 3 years. We stayed with my Aunt Stacey and her husband Jeremy. They were wonderful hosts! Especially to put up with us and one very bored 16 month old. :) And if you're all wondering why everyone's wearing shorts and short sleeved shirts, it's because it was in the 80's on Thanksgiving day. Alot different from the weather here at home.
We left Florida Saturday afternoon after Thanksgiving and got home about 2 in the morning. Sunday morning we were up and at it getting ready for Thanksgiving with Jordan's family. Jordan's family always celebrates every holiday the Sunday after the actual holiday. I really like that because we get to spend time with both families. Thanksgiving at Jordan's Nanny's turned out great. We ate, took a few pictures and headed home to rest before we both had to go back to work. Here are a few shots I got at Nanny's...

Lovin on his cousin Dalton! :)
Hope everyone is having a good Monday. I will try to get you all up to date tomorrow.
