Tomorrow Afternoon.........

Our family will be welcoming my fourth cousin on my moms side of the family, who will be 25 years younger than me. :) My mom's youngest sister is scheduled to have her first baby boy by c-secton tomorrow afternoon at 5 pm (4 pm our time). She seems to be pretty anxious but scared to death at the same time. Since she is 38 years old, everything can be a little riskier but we know the Lord will be taking good care of her and baby Beau tomorrow. If you don't mind, please say a prayer for her, her husband and baby Beau that everything goes smoothly and he comes out healthy & happy!!!

Praying for you, Jeremy and baby Beau tonight, Aunt Stacey!!!! Good Luck!!!!!!!!!

My mom, her mom and 2 sisters. Stacey is on the far right. :)

Birthday Fun and Big Steps...

My little sister, Tori, turned 13 on Sunday. We celebrated her birthday this past Saturday. (Originally planned for LAST Saturday and then she cancelled and rescheduled just a few hours before.) I am amazed when looking at all the pictures I took Saturday night. She looks SO grown up. I remember the day she was born and of course, every day in between. I can't believe how fast time has gone by. She is officially a teenager and is officially ACTING LIKE ONE. :) Haha.

The weather was absolutely gorgous and I think the baby boys enjoyed soaking up the sun just as much if not more than the teenagers who attended ;) Here are some pictures I took at the party...

Playing his fav, ball.

He really liked playing with Tori's friend... who is a boy....

Dancing in the garage with Papa

A little more playing.

All the teenagers who attended.

Tori... and her friend... who is a boy.

Me and the love of my life.

Playing in the bed of the truck.

Sistas

It's official.... 13!!!!!!

Happy Birthday Tori. We love you!!!!

I know I posted a while back about finally getting Tuff a booster so he could sit at the table like a big boy. Well, he LOVES his chair. He has come to a stage where he wants to do everything by his self. Including feeding his self. I know I'm "supposed" to let him do this at this age anyways but usually when it's something really messy, I try to feed him. Lately, there is NO WAY that is happening. He demands to do it his self. If I even get near him or his bowl while he's eating, he points in the living room and says "Sit!" He wants me to go sit down and leave him alone. Oh me. My little boy is taking big boy steps more and more every day. Here is a shot of him eating his spaghetti and garlic bread on Tuesday night. As you can tell, he is so proud.

I hope everyone is having a wonderful week. I am so glad it's close to being over.

Enjoy your Thursday!!!

20 Months Old

Dearest Baby Boy,

You are 20 MONTHS OLD TODAY!!!!

Just 4 months shy of turning 2. Ahhhh!!! I can hardly believe how big you've gotten. You look like such a little man in the picture above! You are getting bigger and smarter by the minute... Here are just a few things you have been up to these days...

* At your last doctor's visit you were weighing in at 29 pounds! Big Boy!
* You are wearing a SIZE 6 diaper!!! I was hoping we'd never have to move up from size 5 since they sell them for the same price but put less in the pack but oh well. It was much needed since you have been having a few issues down south with yeast infections. Speaking of... we've been to the doctor twice now and if the cream we're using now doesn't work, he'll have to see a dermatologist. Please pray this cream works. He's been miserable for 2 months now.
* You are wearing 24 months- 2T in shirts and the same in pants. We've also moved up to a 7 and a half in shoes. You have an enormous foot. You definitely get that from my mom's side of the family. :)
* You have added SO many words to your vocabulary since the last time I updated everyone. Along with the words I listed here, you have now added "cold, hot, no (new favorite), baby, ni-ni (nite nite), chip, luh-u (love you), fish, Barmy (Barney), MeMe (that's what they call my mom), cheese (he likes to say this for the camera), boo boo (i think this is the common word used when they get hurt). As of right now, that's all I can think of but I'm sure there is many more.
* The past couple of months you've really been struggling with sleep. This is like a constant up and down hill battle in our house. You will sleep so good for a couple of months and then sleep so bad for the next 2 months. I'm really hoping you completely grows out of this by the time baby # 2 gets here but my gut is telling me differently. I guess we'll see come August! :)
* You are officially enrolled in "school" for the 2011-2012 school year. I'm pretty nervous about it but obviously still have a few more months to get myself more prepared. It's only 2 days a week so hopefully all goes well for not only you, but for Mama too!
* The weather is getting nicer and you are itching to be outside as much as possible. Meaning every time someone walks in or out of the door. You love your time outside.
* Luckily, you have been sickness FREE for over a month now. I think that's the longest you've gone ALL winter. Keeping our fingers crossed that it stays this way for a LONG while.

You are such a sweet boy!!! I'm head over heals in love with you. You light up my whole world. Every night before bed I find myself in the same place, saying the same prayers.... PRAISING him for the most precious BLESSING!!!! If it weren't for you, some days I don't know how I'd make it through. Thanks for making my heart so FULL baby boy!!!! Mommy loves you, always and forever!!!!!

Check out my 14 week post here and see the difference. WOW. Little Strawberry sure has grown in the past 2 weeks. :) .... Oh! And I AM wearing a maternity shirt in the pictures above. It was time.

Sorry for being MIA the past few days. I've just been exhausted from work. I work for an accounting firm and this is our busy season so I've been literally busting it all day, every day. This week we have someone out on vacation and I'm responsible for his job and mine so I've really been busting it this week. Yesterday was crazy and I have a feeling it's going to be that way all week. Just bare with me. Hopefully I'll be able to post again tomorrow.

Happy Tuesday!
