PICTURES & newest member to the Alford FAM!!!!

The Alford family officially added a new member to the family this weekend....



Meet NELLA (Her name is fitting, right? After the baby girl we'll never have...)

Tuff is SO excited about his new "kitty." He had a mini melt down when we walked out the door to go to the vet this morning. :) Nella is 9 weeks old with a few fleas and no shots. So she had to go get all that taken care of asap! We assured baby boy that Nella would be back home, safe and sound this afternoon when he came home from MeMe's and Pa's.



As for PICTURES....

We had Tuff's 2 year photo session yesterday morning. We met up with Amber bright and early at 8:00 a.m. to try and avoid the heat. The first 30 minutes or so were NICE. Then the sun came out. We shot for about an hour and a half and she got lots of pictures! She said it would take 4-6 weeks to get them all but she went ahead and posted a "sneak peek" on her website last night. I thought they turned out GREAT!!! You can see them HERE. Amber did a great job and she was very sweet to work with. If you're looking for pictures to be made at a good price with good quality, I highly recommend Amber. She is out of McMinnville but will travel to you for an extra charge. Thanks SO much for working with us Amber!!!! We LOVE what we've seen so far! Can't wait to see the rest!!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABY BOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

2 years ago today at this very moment we were awaiting our sweet babies arrival....

And almost 12 hours later at 5:43pm.....

Our sweet boy FINALLY arrived.

A whole 8lbs.

&

20 1/4 inches long

I think me and Jordan both agree on one thing for sure, this was the happiest day of our lives!!!!

We are SO blessed to have such a sweet, fun loving baby boy to fill our hearts with SO much love and joy!!!!!!!!!

And today....

Our sweet-fun loving baby is turning 2!

And I have to admit, he's already been acting like a 2 year old just a few hours into his birthday this morning! Ha! (I think he knows he can get away with anything today!)

We don't have a lot planned for the day. Just whatever baby boy wants to do! So far he's ran some errands with mama, visited MeMe and Pah and now we're headed to BaBa's to go to lunch with Baba and Bubba (Jace Thomas).

34 weeks

today!!!

PREGNANCY HIGHLIGHTS

How Far Along: 34 weeks

Size of baby: The website I googled said baby boy is currently the size of an average cantaloupe. He is also weighing around 4 3/4 pounds and is close to 18 inches long!

 Total Weight Gain/Loss: 14 pounds as of last appointment. I go back on Friday!

Maternity Clothes: All maternity at this point!

Gender: It's a BOY!!! Gunner Blake.

Movement: Still moving... all the time... It's starting to get uncomfortable. I'm sure he's feeling the same way!

What I miss: SLEEEEEEEEP. I'm so tired. I can barely keep my eyes open right now while I'm typing this. I also miss my energy, being able to bend over, my normal body, being able to lay on my stomach, eating anything I wanted without getting heartburn... should I keep going? Haha!

Cravings: Just hungry for food. No particular cravings.

Symptoms: I'm starting to have several contractions. And I'm swelling some. Usually at the end of the day when I've been up on my feet alot.

Best Moment this week: Tuff's birthday party this past Saturday. And I'm also looking foward to spending the day with him on Thursday for his 2nd Birthday!!!!

Baby Boy's party on Saturday was a huge success. Tuff was a little uneasy when he first arrived but after he got some food in his belly, he warmed up wonderfully! :) Here are some of the pictures from his BIG day! :)

Like I said above, everything turned out great! We had the best time and Tuff got way TOO MANY presents! :) Thank you for any and everyone who was there to be apart of Tuff's special day! We very much appreciated your company and Tuff loved all his gifts!

On Sunday afternoon, my sister and mom hostest a "Sprinkle" for Gunner at a local restaurant. My sister was a little late on getting out the invites and several people told me they never got their invite. A lot of other friends and family had plans and couldn't make it. I had 5 friends and family show up but we still enjoyed each other's company and a wonderful lunch!!! Thank you to everyone that came and gave a gift for our sweet little Gunner. We very much appreciate everyone's generosity and we know when Gunner arrives he will appreciate it too. :)

Size of baby: The website I googled said baby boy is currently the size of a pineapple. He is also weighing in over 4 pounds and is past the 17 inch mark!

 

 Total Weight Gain/Loss: 14 pounds

Maternity Clothes: YES!!! I am SO clotheless. I really don't want to have to buy more maternity clothes with only 7 weeks left.

Gender: It's a BOY!!! Gunner Blake.

Movement: Still moving... all the time.

What I miss: SLEEEEEEEEP. I'm so sleep deprived. Tylonel PM really seems to help but I know I can't take it every night. It can't be good for us.

Cravings: Just food. I'm eating more and more as the days go by.

Symptoms: A few contractions here and there, pain and swelling in places I don't want it.... and sleep deprivation.

Best Moment this week: The extra long weekend I had with my boys! :)

PLEASE tell me ya'll agree with me when I say Casey Anthony should have got the death penalty!!! Instead of that or life in prison, she will be able to continue her partying lifestyle while her precious daughter is DEAD. I'm just sick to my stomach with the verdict for that girl!!!! One thing I do know FOR SURE is, she WILL have to pay for it one day when her life is over!
