Our weekend.

Saturday morning Tuff woke up and found Snitch in his room playing with all his shoes. When he found Snitch, he was wearing Tuff's favorite pair of shoes, his rain boots. Check him out.

Technically, the children aren't supposed to touch the Elf. I try to remind Tuff of that, but I still think he's a little to young to understand that part. When he finds him every morning, he's so exctied that the first thing he wants to do is grab him up. Of course after he finds him, I take him and remind Tuff that Snitch isn't supposed to be touched because he will lose his magic. Then I put him up somewhere where he can "watch over" Tuffy throughout the day. Tuff usually doesn't ask to touch/hold him anymore.

Here he is grabbing him out of his boots Saturday morning when he found him.
He thought it was pretty funny that Snitch was wearing his boots. :)

Daddy had to work Friday night so we didn't do anything. Me and the boys hung out at home like we normally would on a week night when Daddy has to work. I did let Tuff stay up a little later than usual watching CARS with mommy! He eventually fell asleep in the chair with me.

Saturday morning we got up and cleaned house some. Then we got ready for our hometown Christmas parade. Tuff always seems to enjoy the parades. He got a big bag full of candy this time around. That could have something to do with his liking for parades. Here are some pictures.

(I realize Gunner's hat doesn't match AT ALL, but I didn't realize how windy it was going to be and that was all I had with me. Eeek. Blue hat with Christmas outfit.)

Checking out the horsies

Woodbury was packed, as you can see!

Saturday night we went over to my SIL's house for Chili and a little football. Speaking of football, what the heck happened to GA??? They played a wonderful first half and then just fell apart the 2nd half. I would have really like to see them beat LSU. Oh well. I didn't take any pictures because we didn't do much more than eat and watch tv.

Sunday we went to my sweet nephew's 3rd birthday party at Chuck E Cheese. It was both boys first time to Chuck E Cheese and will probably be their last time until their both 5 and/or older. LOL. It was CRAZY madness in that place. PACKED full of kids and hot as haties. We were there for about an hour, maybe a little longer before I told my SIL "We have to get the heck outta here!" She thought that statement was quite funny. I, on the other hand, did not. Ha. I only got a few pictures because I was alone with both boys and had to tote Gunner around the whole time.

Don't you love the cake face?

Tuff playing a game

In the big monster truck

This was funny because Jace wouldn't get in it and Tuff ran right up to it like he wasn't scared. But as soon as we put the token in and it started moving, he started to scream like a baby. HaHa!

Gunner liked it, though. Even when it was moving.

Playing some ski ball.
(This used to be my favorite thing to play at Chuck E Cheese when I was little)

And for Gunner's first time at Chuck E Cheese, he got sketched. ;)
How sweet is this?

This is how I can tell it was a fun but busy weekend...
7 pm last night and out like a light.
This NEVER happens.

Oh!
And guess who's finally rolling over from belly to back.
This big boy.

Happy Monday, Friends.

Sophie&Greer, A first & SNITCH! :)

I signed up to take dinner to April, Brandon and sweet babies on Tuesday night. When I got off work it was raining/sleeting/spitting snow so I called April to see if we could re-schedule for Thursday night. She said that would be fine so last night I cooked then packed up the kiddos and headed over to our first "play date" with Sophie and Greer. Tuff was excited about this trip. He kept saying "Sophie and Greer!" "Sophie and Greer!" Once we got there I hauled the babies and all the food in and we did what we do best. EAT! :) I cooked beef enchiladas, mexican rice, black beans, brownies and sweet tea! Mexican, my sister's favorite. After we ate, we both loved on each others babies as much as we could before Gunner got sleepy and we had to head home. I got lots of pictures but I'm only going to post a few...

Sophie is definitely sweet and sassy. She has no problem with her socialization skills. She was right up in my face talking and playing the whole time. She also loved on Gunner some, loved on her brother Greer ALOT and played with Tuff quite well. :)
(Also, I didn't get my camera out until after we ate, which is the reasoning for Sophie not wearing many clothes.. if any at all)

Playing "where's Sophie?"

Greer is as sweet as he can be!!! I almost tried to take him home with us ;)

Gunner finally passed out in Aunt April's arms right before we left.

and...
A little bit of brotherly LOVE

It was a good visit. A little hectic with so many babies but we wouldn't have it any other way. Harrison wasn't there (he had a birthday party to attend) so I didn't get to love on him any. We missed him but I'm sure we'll catch him next time.

We had a first in our house last night before we loaded up to head to Aunt April's for our play date. Me and Jordan laugh about how clumsy Tuff is ALL the time. I swear he couldn't walk a straight line if it was painted a foot wide. My dad is this way so the only thing we can figure is that he got it from him. Who knows. Sometimes it's funny but sometimes it can get a little aggravating because it seems he's ALWAYS falling and hitting his head or falling on his face or something along those lines. He has bruises over him all the time and I constantly tell Jordan "People are going to think we beat him!" Haha. I'm sure parents know better but geez. Well last night I had just loaded my hands full of food to take to the car when I heard a loud "Boom!" I quickly realized Tuff had hit something. When I walked into the living room he was getting up from where he fell, crying and holding his nose. When he got to Jordan and took his hands off his face, blood was everywhere. We immediately freaked. Jordan took him to the kitchen and sat him on the counter to get him cleaned up. I still can't figure out what he hit. If he hit his nose... or if he just hit his head/face so hard that it caused a nose bleed? There is no mark on his face so I'm not sure. But the poor baby bled for 5 minutes out of both nostrils and then on and off for the next hour. Whatever he did, I know it couldn't have felt good. So, we mark our first nose bleed down in the books for our household. Like I said before, never a dull moment....

SNITCH was chillaxing watching a movie this morning.
He had gotten into all the DVD's and decided he wanted to watch Frosty.

Here he is laid back with his hands behind his head in the middle of the mess he made!!!

Tuff got tickled when he woke up to SNITCH's mess. Looks similar to a mess he would make ;)

HAPPY FRIDAY, Friends!!!

It's Official...

25 Days til Christmas!!!

I am excited about Christmas with 2 babies this year!!!
Guess who flew in for his first night in the Alford house last night????

SNITCH! :)

Yes, his name is snitch!
We found it rather "fitting" since he does watch over the children daily and report back to Santa at night on their behavior.

Tuff was more excited to see him this year than last. It could be the age difference but since he seemed to be more excited, I think I will get into it a little more this year. Last year we would just move Snitch to a different spot every night and let Tuff wake up and find him. This year I think Snitch will be more active and maybe even a little mischievious. I'll keep ya'll posted on Snitches actions. :)

When I was pregnant with Tuff, Jordan bought this Christmas outfit at a boutique in Green Hills. It ended up being too small for Tuff when Christmas time came so I saved it for the next babe. Well. It fits Gunner so I put it on him this morning. I tried to get some pictures of him infront of the tree but let's face it... It's almost impossible taking good pictures of a 3 month old who can't sit up on his own and when it's 6 am. But here are some of the best ones I got.

After editing them, they didn't turn out too bad.

I also tried to get some of our BIG baby. But ya'll know how easy that is.

That's the best I got.
BUT, I did get THIS super cute picture as we were walking out the door.
I couldn't resist as cute as he was looking in his stylin hat and jacket.
Our sweet boy is growing way TOO fast.

Happy Thursday, Friends!

A Funny :)

Sunday morning I was in the bathroom getting ready when I heard...

"EAT IT! EAT IT!"

I instantly new (or figured I knew) what was going on. When I walked into the living room, where both boys were hanging out watching tv, this is what I saw...

Well really what I saw was the fishes tail sticking out of Gunner's mouth. I ran to get my camera to take a picture but by the time I made it back the fishy was sliding out of his mouth down his chin.

Sweet Tuff was trying to share his fishy's with his baby brother. <3

I calmly let him know that baby brother has no teeth, therefore he can only eat bottles right now. He didn't seem to care too much.

Never a dull moment with 2 babes the age of 2 and under.

:)
