Do they look alike?

I like to go back and dig out Tuff's pictures and compare to Gunner's, as he grows. Here they are at 6 months, side by side.

What do ya'll think?

Do they look alike?

Sweet babies!

I've posted 3 different posts today so don't forget to scroll down and see Gunner's 6 month "sneak peek" if you haven't already.

Gunner "sneak peek" - 6 months

My friend Anita has done it again... a great job that is! She came out and took Gunner's 6 month photo shoot yesterday (since it was finally nice enough) and sent me a sneak peek late last night. I'm IN LOVE with them, of course!

Happy Thursday, Friends.

It's Tuesday...

...and I don't have much to blog about. I do know that if you were praying with me on Friday, the prayers worked. We are all still safe and sound. We actually never got anything too terribly bad. Just a small thunderstorm. Thank goodness. I am literally a nervous wreck when it comes to bad weather. I guess I've just had too many "close calls" in my days.

I don't have a lot to update ya'll on. Gunner is still sleeping in his crib. He's been in it every night (and every nap) since I posted about it last week. He seems to be doing pretty well. He's always been the type of baby who just prefers to be laid down awake and he goes to sleep on his own so I didn't think it would be too much of an adjustment.

Both boys have been having some strange symptoms the past few days. On the way home from church on Sunday Tuff threw up all over his self and his car seat. I just figured he'd gotten car sick (he's done this before) because he acted fine the rest of the afternoon. Yesterday afternoon he ran a low grade fever. Around 3 am this morning he woke me up with a fever. When Gunner woke up this morning I made him his bottle and he only drank 2 ounces. I didn't really think much of it. After we got to my mom's and she fed him his cereal, he threw that up. I thought to myself "Wonderful!" I'm sure it's just some kind of bug but really? I'm almost postive you all get tired of hearing about my babies being sick all the time. Because I'm positive I get tired of them being sick all the time. Ugh. There isn't much we can do for Tuff since he's already on an antibiotic anyways... remember the 3 week antibiotic? So I guess it will just run it's course. As of right now, both boys act like their normal selves. Which is good.

Gunner has been rolling over from back to belly every time we lay him down the past few days. He's so funny about it because he repeatedly does it but gets so mad once he gets over on his belly. I snapped a sweet picture of him this past weekend after he made his move.

And I just thought this one was sweet.

Gunner bear also got to ride the tractor with Uncle Junior last week. (Big Brother was having no part)

Gunner obviously wasn't thrilled but also didn't mind it :)
Tuff continued to go on and on about it but was also letting mommy know at the same time that he wanted NO part of it. HA!

Work has been busy and I have been tired! :-/
Tax season is in full force around our office, for sure! Just thankful I'm not pregnant this year.

We are looking forward to seeing GG in a few weeks.

We haven't seen her since the trip we took down last April so I'm excited. Thankfully they are letting me have a day off from work so I can spend some time with her. We have plans to go to the Grand Ole Opry one night while she's here and I'm pretty stoked about that too. :)

Well, I know this was random but it's all I got for today!
Happy Tuesday!

Tornadoes. Babies. Tornadoes.... Babies....

That is about all that's going through my head right now. I am literally SICK to my stomach about this tornado "talk" that's going around this morning. From what I understand we are a 9 out of 10 for tornadoes today.... My babies being away from me and out of arms reach is not making my stomach feel any better. And there is not a worse feeling, if you ask me anyways! :(

Here are a few things I've heard/seen about our upcoming weather......................

"Forecasters are especially worried about what this round of storms will bring late Friday into early Saturday morning. Experts say nighttime tornadoes are more likely to be deadly than daytime ones."

"These storms could produce large hail, damaging winds and a few intense Tornadoes" (this statement was already in bold!)

"Large, violent tornadoes are possible in these areas. Prepare now!"

"There is an elevated risk for strong, long lived tornadoes (whhhaaattt?) across central Tennessee and Kentucky."

"High risk areas are extremely rare and are typically issued once or twice a year. This is a very serious situation for Kentucky and north/central Tennessee"

And here is a picture I saw. Below the picture it describes what all the colors and numbers mean.

"In this image, the numbers/percentages show the probability of a tornado within 25 miles of a point. Areas that are hatched show a 10% or greater probability of EF2 – EF5 tornadoes within 25 miles of a point. A 30% hatched area is VERY significant!!!!"

Eeeek!!!

PLEASE, if ya'll don't mind, say a prayer for us Tennesseans today!!! We could really use them. I've been praying since yesterday when I heard about what was to come.... Praying for everyone to stay safe!

We have a sitter! ;)

Gunner has been sitting up SO much better on his own. Last night I had him laying on his play mat while I was running around doing a few things. He was NOT having it. So I went over and sat him up and put him underneath the ball that hangs from the play mat. He was THRILLED. He loved that ball. He played and played and sat up so wonderfully underneath that little plastic ball.

Big brother even got in for a few shots.

I'm not sure what he's doing. He kept pulling Gunner's head against him saying "Cheeezzee"
I guess he was trying to get brothers attention so he'd pose with him. HA.

Sweet little Gunner slept in his crib ALL night again last night. Although it wasn't as easy as the night before, I still stayed strong and left him in there. Believe me, several times I contemplated just bringing him back to my bed. :-/ Hopefully he was just have an off night and tonight will be better.

We will be getting Gunner's 6 month pictures made this weekend. I'm pretty excited. Me and my friend (and photographer) Anita, have all kinds of sweet ideas rolling around in our heads! :)

Happy Thursday!!!
