"Why Yes Dove, I think I will!"
Sometimes you need simple reminders like the picture above. I say simple because that is a wrapper from a piece of Dove chocolate I enjoyed earlier :)
Our weekend was fun and busy! Friday night we went to open house at Tuff's school for next year's enrollment. Tuff ran around like he owned the place. Definitely an improvement from the beginning of his year. He has grown to love "school" so much. He knows all his colors, numbers, most shapes and he's been singing lately. "School" has been SO good for him. Dada (what Tuff calls Ada) might be going to his school next year so Tuff wanted to go and show her around. We were there about an hour, got dinner after and headed home. On Saturday Gunner woke up not feeling good so we missed a birthday party we were supposed to attend. (Sorry Tara!) Jordan has been sick so I sent him to the DR and he came home with 3 different meds, one including an inhaler because he has sinus infection & bronchitis. I was afraid Gunner might be getting bronchitis again because his cough was horrible. It was a very pretty day on Saturday so after naps we decided to take a walk to a creek close by. Gunner LOVES the stroller so every time I took his picture, he was hamming it up.
Tuffy enjoyed throwing rocks off the bridge into the water

Gunner had a rough night Saturday into Sunday morning so we got up and headed to the DR first thing Sunday morning. He said he didn't have bronchitis yet but since he was wheezing and coughing he wanted to go ahead and get him some abuterol to hopefully catch it in time. Thankfully. I'm so glad he doesn't have bronchitis but I still hate that he is feeling some bad. He also said to expect lack of sleep from meds. Yay for us! He was coughing/waking/crying/whining a lot last night but we made it. (we always do.)
My Granny flew in yesterday morning and I am so excited to get to spend some time with her this week. I hate that I can't spend the whole week with her but I have to work. I did get Wednesday off so I could spend the day with her and we are also going to the Grand Ole Opry tomorrow night which I'm pretty excited about.
We celebrated the twins birthday yesterday. Well, me and Tuff did. We left daddy and brother behind since both are sick. It was a rainbow theme and all of my sister's hard work definitely paid off. The only negative was it being about 105 degrees. OK. Maybe it was only 85 degrees but it sure felt like 105. HA! I was my sister's photographer (with her camera) so I'm not in any of these pictures. Which isn't really a bad thing.
