Yesterday was my 26th birthday. I was 26 on the 26th. We all know that only happens once in a lifetime. Some say it's supposed to be your "golden year." We shall see I guess.
My day started with a "Happy Birfday, mama!" from by boys bright and early!!!
(Obviously this was the best part of my day!)
Then....
a new purse from my SIL and nephews
and...
a TJ Maxx gift card from my MIL & FIL.
A card and some $$$ from my mom and dad.
and of course lots of texts and calls making it feel like a HAPPY birthday!!!
The family celebrated last week on Wednesday when we went bowling and then again on Friday night when we got together and grilled out. Friday night was our last night with GG before she flew back home Saturday morning. We really enjoyed her while she was here. So did the kiddos. We pretty much rested most of the day on Saturday. Gunner has been having some issues that were diagnosed yesterday as reflux. This has led him to be pretty fussy the past couple of weeks and has also led him to not eating his formula. I called DR. C yesterday and told him about all his symptoms and he said it definitely sounded like reflux. So he called us something in and hopefully it helps. I'm starting to think he's had reflux since day 1. And that might be the cause to all his past/present problems/sicknesses. Keeping our fingers crossed! :) Anyways, since Gunner bear was so fussy Saturday I told Jordan we had to get out of the house for the afternoon. Once everyone was up from naps we headed to Applebees and the grocery store. Gunner really enjoys getting out and he really likes the stroller. Him and Tuff both were really good the whole time. Sunday morning I worked on Gunner's baby food supply for the month. Making my own baby food is definitely rewarding but also VERY time consuming. The good thing is, one morning or afternoon in the kitchen a month is all I need. Sunday afternoon Tuff and I headed to church for dinner and a talent show.

"cool dude" sportin his shades on the way to church
We left brother at home with Daddy since I knew we'd be gone later than Gunner's bed time. We really enjoyed the talent show. Tuff and all his cousins, especially. They played and danced and had so much fun!
Tuff had his appointment with the allergist yesterday morning. I will post more about his appointment when we get the results. Which should be about 3-5 business days. So probably sometime next week.
I decided to re-do my blog myself. It was time for a little update. Obviously I went a little more basic. I might try to do a little more tweeking when I have time but for now, I'm in love with the header. :)
Happy Tuesday, friends!!!
