Gunner is doing pretty good. He's starting to sleep better than he was when we first came home. He definitely doesn't sleep near as good as Tuff did when Tuff was his age. But we're working on it. He eats like a little piggy. He's already eating 3 ounces. If he's awake before it's time to eat, he always thinks he's hungry. He's already getting SO big to me. It's pretty sad since he's only 2 weeks (tomorrow) old. These 2 weeks have definitely flown by though. :( It's so sad to me because I know he's going to be our last baby! I wish I could just sit and hold and snuggle him ALL day long but that's impossible with a 2 year old who is constantly doing everything he can to keep our FULL attention. Here are a few updated pics of our sweet boy.
He LOVES sleeping on his belly.
If I could put him on his belly at night, I have no doubt he'd sleep ALL night.
[found his thumb yesterday]
We are IN LOVE with our new addition. Even if he keeps me up at night! :)
Tuff is the one who is having the hardest time adjusting.... Poor buddy. He is SOOOO good with Gunner. He loves him, loves ON him, checks on him and talks about him all day long. He calls him "Brodder, Gunner, baby and baby Gunner." I had NO doubt he would be good with him. Me and Daddy, on the other hand, are the ones he is giving a hard time. He is rebeling. Majorly! Everyone keeps saying "Oh he'll adjust... just make sure to give him just as much as attention as you give the baby!" My reply to that is "Gunner doesn't get NEAR as much attention as Tuff is getting because Tuff is constantly doing everything he can to keep our attention on him!" I keep wondering if he's doing all that just to keep our attention on him and off the baby. I'm not sure. All I know is, it's been a little frustrating at times. I've tried my best to give him as much attention as I can without getting him in trouble for constantly doing something he shouldn't be, but it just doesn't seem to be working, yet! Everyone keeps saying he will adjust soon enough. I guess time will tell. Our biggest issue YET has been bed/nap time. We went from laying down and falling asleep at bed/nap time in 5-15 minutes tops to 1-2 hours tops. It's been CRAZY!!!! The child does NOT want to go to sleep. I guess he thinks he's going to miss something. Don't get me wrong, he's still our sweet 2 year old who we love more than anything in the world, but we are all trying to help him adjust the best way we know how. Praying we get a steady routine down, soon! At least before I go back to work. Haha. Here are some updated pictures of our sweet "big brother."
He's wanting the camera here.

Yesterday afternoon, I took buddy to the park. I thought it'd be nice to have a little one on one time with him every now and then. Jordan stayed home with Gunner so we didn't have to get him out. Tuff had a blast playing on the slides and he also swung on the swings for the very first time and LOVED it!!!
Sorry for all the rambling but that's a pretty current update of whats been going on in our household. Gunner goes back to the Dr tomorrow morning for a weight check. He had some jaundice right after we got home so he wanted to wait a week to check his weight. I'm sure he's gained some. I will keep ya'll posted!
Happy Monday!!!
