Wedding details and decor ideas

We are doing a very small wedding/ceremony. We have only invited CLOSE family/friends and we aren't having a reception, just cake. Jordan and I are so far into our lives that we agreed spending alot of money on a big fancy wedding was just going to be a waste. Plus, if we were to do a big, fancy, expensive wedding, we would be having to wait longer to get married. We would have to save, plan, etc.

So....

My sister April use to work some as a wedding coordinator and since we're getting married in October she is in full swing IDEA's mode. Which is more than OK with me since I'm not too good with coordinating things. Our wedding, being a Fall wedding, is going to be a mixture of the colors yellow, orange and brown. Our first decor idea came from my Aunt Bonnie (her house is where the wedding is being held). She had suggested getting pumpkins carved with our initials and candles burning inside them. The wedding will be at night around 6:30 so it should be a little dim out. Our first thought of this idea, BEAUTIFUL. So, one decor down... a few more to go.

April emailed me yesterday suggesting these beauties....

Another GREAT idea. These will be BEAUTIFUL hanging from the trees in the colors we have coordinating the wedding. The best part, these can be made.... BY HAND. Woo hoo. Beautiful and Cheap. What do ya'll think? If ya'll are thinking what I'm thinking, I'm thinking these beauties will be hanging from the trees of our wedding destination on October 2nd of 2010.
