Now-a-days

We have all sorts of things going on "now-a-days." After being nagged over and over from family near and far from home, I have caved and decided to start blogging. Lord knows, I miss my family a ton and sending emails with pictures and updates gets old and easily forgotten. This blog should help them keep up with our every day life more frequently....

For starters, Jordan (future hubby) and I have been loving on one another for many, many years now! I have to admit, he is my heart and soul in life. I have loved him since the very first day I laid eyes on his beautiful face and gorgous tan skin! Our history started way back when we were only 16 and 17 years old. We have been though many obstacles and had our fair share of ups and downs but I have to say, I wouldn't have it any other way. Everything we've been though has gotten us where we are standing today, which makes us one REALLY strong couple. He is my rock and my strength and I thank GOD for such a wonderful, hard working daddy and (soon-to-be) husband!

In July of 2009 we added this sweet baby boy to the mix....

Life since this baby boy has been phenomenal. We couldn't have asked for a better BLESSING. Lucas Tuff is now going on 14 months old. He is getting to be such a big boy and makes us beam with pride. He has accomplised so much since the day/picture above. He has gone from smiling, to laughing, to sitting up, to crawling, to walking, to running, to teething, to teeth, to no more bots (bottles), to eating big boy food (grown up food), to waving bye-bye and giving kisses... I could go on forever! Our hearts are FULL, filled with JOY and LOVE for this first baby boy of ours and I couldn't say that enough!!!! Below is a picture of our sweet baby boy now....

Isn't he beautiful? We sure do think so... Sometimes I wonder how we could ever make another one and he/she ever compare to the beauty of this child. Haha. We pretty much love him alot, can't you tell?

On to more recent happenings.... In March of this year, we bought our first ever....

Yep! You can mark that down as the first home of "Mr. and Mrs. Jordan Alford" Lord knows, we've worked hard to get this bad boy! This picture just doesn't do it's justice. Jordan has worked so hard on the landscaping so it's 100% more beautiful then the picture above. I am so thankful for my boogies. He works 3rd shift, cleans the house, keeps the yard up, and still manages to be the perfect dad/love of my life. I love you BOOGS and can't wait to be your wife... for the rest of your life. :)

I know you've heard me talk alot about "soon-to-be" and "future" husband... That's some more big news we have to share. We will becoming ONE on October 2nd. That's right, just one short month from now I will be Mrs. Jordan Alford. Something I have dreamed of since DAY 1 of falling in love with Jordan. We have alot of planning in the making and I'm sure I will be sharing some of this in future posts between now and the BIG day! :) Until then.... here are a few random pictures to catch everyone up....
